The Simpsons: 'Stark Raving Dad' removed from Disney+ due to presence of MJ?
The Simpsons episode from season three Stark Raving Dad is not present on the new streaming platform Disney+. Reports suggest that it is due to MJ's appearance.

The Simpsons that is considered to be one of the best-animated TV shows recently started streaming on the new launch platform Disney+. But an episode that featured Michael Jackson voicing a character has been removed from the entire library of the show. The episode which was titled has Stark Raving Dad was the first episode of season three of the series. Read on to know more about this decision.
Stark Raving Dad removed from Disney+
The TV show The Simpsons has been one of the top-rated animated shows since its first airing in 1989. Recently, Disney+ the streaming platform made the entire series of The Simpsons available for streaming. But episode one from season three of The Simpsons is missing from the library. The show’s season three directly starts from the second episode Mr. Lisa goes to Washington.

A leading news portal in the US also asked Disney to comment on the issue as to why the episode was removed but no response was received in return. The portal’s report suggests that Stark Raving Dad the 1991 episode was removed from Disney+ due to the presence of Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson made a guest appearance in the show and voiced the character of Leo Kompowsky. In the episode Stark Raving Dad, Homer meets a man named Leo in a mental institution who sounds like the pop star. The episode was considered a fan favourite for several years.

According to the media portal’s report, in March this year, Stark Raving Dad was removed from its broadcast circulation from The Simpsons. The reason being reported as the HBO documentary film Leaving Neverland. In the documentary, the late pop star was accused of sexual harassment by multiple boys. James L Brooks commented on the issue to another media publication. The publication quoted Brooks stating that pulling out the episode was the only choice to make. He further stated that he strictly against book-burning but this is our book and we are allowed to take out a chapter.
