Vin Diesel introduces latest addition to 'Fast and Furious 9' cast

American actor Vin Diesel has introduced another addition to the star cast of Fast and Furious 9 and it is rapper Cardi B. She made her film debut against Jennifer Lopez in the 2019 movie Hustlers. The 27-year-old rapper has shot for a small portion in the upcoming action thriller. Diesel revealed her name as the latest member on October 22 in an Instagram clip, shared by him. In the video, he said, "Day 86, here on the set of Fast 9". After which Cardi chimed in saying "I'm tired, but I can't wait". She then added, "I ain't gonna front, I think this is going to be the best one". In Tuesday's video, both Diesel and Cardi were dressed up in what appeared to be their film costumes. She was seen wearing a black jacket and gloves while the 52-year-old actor was seen in a grey leather jacket.

Latin Singer Ozuna Joins Starcast

Latin singer Ozuna has joined the star cast of Fast and Furious for its ninth instalment which is scheduled to release on May 2020. Ozuna has not just bagged a role in the upcoming American action film but may also record for the film's soundtrack. The role in Fast and Furious 9 will be his second in a feature film after the 2018 romantic comedy Que Leon. He will also make an appearance in the sequel of Que Leon which is presently in its pre-production stage and is titled Los Leones. Days after John Cena finished shooting for his role in the action thriller, Ozuna's entry was announced. The latest addition Ozuna is a proud winner of two 2019 Latin American Music Awards last week. The Taki Taki singer has even been nominated for a 2019 Latin Grammy Award for his track Baila Baila Baila.

Fast and Furious 9 to release on May 2020 

Justin Lin has returned to direct this edition of the serious after he made Fast & Furious 6. Vin Diesel will be starring once again as Dominic Toretto in it and will co-star along with Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, John Cena, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron and Michael Rooker. The film's screenplay has been penned down by Dan Casey from a story written by Lin and Alfredo Botello. Fast and Furious 9 is expected to release on May 22 next year worldwide.
