Dil Bechara: Will it be able to live up to the Hollywood adaptation?

The Hindi remake of the Hollywood film The Fault in Our Stars is named Dil Bechara. Actor Sushant Singh Rajput and Sajana Sanghi are playing the lead in this desi-adaptation. Helmed by director Mukesh Chhabra, the movie is based on the novel The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. Although the movie will have certain alterations from the base storyline of the book, the main idea will remain the same - two cancer patients falling in love with each other. The music of the film is helmed by popular composer and music director, A.R. Rahman.

Dil Bechara's filmmaker revealed that the audience is in for a surprise for this movie. The Hollywood adaption of the book had such a reputation that developed into a degree, that the audience and the fans of the John Green novel now have high expectations from both the actors as well as the filmmakers when it comes to Dil Bechara. And it is only fair, given how touching the story is. Director Mukesh also spoke about actor Sushant Singh Rajput, praising him for his hard work. He further went on to say that everyone will be happily surprised after seeing Sushant's work in Dil Bechara.

Director Mukesh said that some parts of the movie were shot in one of the most romantic city in the world, Paris. He also revealed that Saif Ali Khan will be appearing for a cameo in the film. The Hollywood adaptation grabbed a lot of attention across the globe, and Dil Bechara is expected to do the same. It appears that a lot of people have high hopes from this movie.
