Post Court Hearing, Singer Mika Singh Sent Back To UAE Jail. Details Inside

Singer Mika Singh has managed to embroil himself in controversy again. The 'Aankh Marey' singer was picked up by the Dubai police last night from Bur Dubai at 3:00 AM after a 17-year-old Brazilian model accused him of sexual misconduct. 

As per the latest report in Khaleej Times, Mika Singh was sent back to the UAE jail after the court hearing. Reports suggest that he was produced in court, and was soon sent to police custody soon after that. The report further reveals that it is not clear for how many days the singer will be detained while he continues to be questioned by the police.

On the professional front, Mika gave his voice to the song ‘Aankh Maarey’ from Rohit Shetty’s movie ‘Simmba’, that was also released on the same day. The track is a recreation of the famous track of the same name from the movie ‘Tere Mere Sapne.’ 

‘Milegi Milegi from the movie ‘Stree’ was among his other popular songs of the year apart from lending his voice for  ‘Hard Hard’ from ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu',  ‘Party Chale On’ from ‘Race 3’ and songs in some of the other popular movies of the year like ‘ Veerey Ki Wedding', ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' and ‘Pad Man.’

The singer had made headlines recently when he had commented on Rakhi Sawant’s wrestling match. Mika had a funny comment on the latter getting injured in the bout against a female wrestler. Since the event was organised by The Great Khali, he had tweeted the lyrics of the song ‘Khali Bali’ from  the movie ‘Padmaavat.’ The two are known for the 2006 incident when Mika had forcibly kissed Rakhi on the lips, following which she had filed a complaint against him. However, they have patched up and become friends over the years.
