Bigil box office collection crosses Rs 200 crore mark globally

Tamil superstar Vijay starrer Bigil has reportedly crossed Rs 200 crore mark globally, in just five days after it’s release. The movie was reportedly doing great at the box office. Allegedly Bigil movie garnered around 34 crores in India on its first day. What was more surprising for the audience was that the movie has garnered a huge following not only in Tamil Nadu but also in several parts of North India, South India as well as globally. Trade analyst Sumit Kadel tweeted about the update on his social media.

The sixth day collection of the movie is reportedly around Rs 7 crore all over India. Sumit Kadel even tweeted saying that Bigil has had more box office collection than all Saand Ki Aankh, Made in China and Housefull 4, that were released around the same time. It has been reported that the movie’s box office collection has surpassed the collections of Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4. He also stated that the movie has collected Rs 7 crore more than the combined collection of all the three Hindi movies.

Bigil is a sports-based drama that revolves around strong emotional feelings such as heartbreaks and vengeance. Bigil is directed and written by Atlee Kumar. The movie was released on October 25, 2019 and it reportedly screened in 4000 screens across India, with almost 90 per cent occupancy. had It has been reported that Vijay becomes the second superstar from the South Indian film industry to cross Rs 150 crore at the box office. The only other superstar from the south Indian industry to cross the milestone is Rajnikanth.
