Eva Orner, the director of the documentary narrates how Bikram Choudhury and a small group of insiders created a system that helped his whereabouts to remain a secret. However, a few students break the barriers and open up about his stories of discomfort. At the Toronto International Film Festival 2019, Eva shared her thoughts about the documentary. When questioned about people following Yogi out of ignorance or out of defiance of news that has been circulating, Eva shared her neutral thoughts that there are absolute supporters of Bikram who do not believe if any of this is true, and then there are people who follow him strictly for his yoga skills. The trailer seems to be divided into two segments. It begins with his followers praising his skills and then goes on to one of them explaining his ugly side.
