Comic Con 2019: DBZ fans create Guinness world record for largest 'Kamehameha' attack performed
Fans at the San Diego Comic Con performed the legendary 'Kamehameha' attack from the popular anime Dragon Ball Z (DBZ).
Fans on Thursday performed the legendary 'Kamehameha' attack from the popular anime Dragon Ball Z (DBZ) at the San Diego Comic-Con.
The collective decision to perform one of the famous moves in the anime universe was done in a bid to attain the Guinness record for largest Kamehameha move performed. The end result was people actually making it. It all started with people reciting the words 'Kamehameha' before performing the attack, just like how the hero of series Goku does it. The gathering was vibrant with hordes of people watching the performers recreating Goku's attack.

The ones who performed Kamehameha had come out in impressive numbers and from different age groups. Visitors were seen cosplaying different characters from DBZ like Goku, Vegeta, Raditz and many more. However, cosplaying was not just limited to DBZ, but also from other popular anime. What is Dragon Ball Z?
Dragon Ball Z is a popular Japanese anime watched by almost every 90s kids. The show is based on the protagonist Goku fighting supervillians and saving the earth with his next level martial arts. In the anime, Goku can be seen using a number of attacks, but the Kamehameha stands out as the best one. It involves Goku folding his hands backwards, reciting the powerful mantra and later attacking the opponent with all his might. The 'Kamehameha is the signature and one of the most powerful attack used by Goku.
Fans at San Diego Comic Con had their best time by performing the famous move. San Diego Comic Con is the largest convention in the world which welcomes thousands of visitors every year. Likewise, this year too saw a massive number of attendees who are enthusiastic about numerous anime shows, movies, television and video games.
