Vinny - the seagull is named after Vindaloo curry. This might aound out of place but has a story behind it. In what may be called a shocking as well as a funny incident, a seagull was mistaken to be a orange bird for the bright orange colour it which it was found. However, later it was found by Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital that the orange colour was because he was covered with curry or turmeric.  In a Facebook post last week, said that people called them to treat an orange bird found of the side of a highway in Buckinghamshire.

Calling the incident one of the strangest casualty, the post said:

"When they called to say they had picked up an orange bird, we had no idea what to expect – and would never have guessed at this! He had somehow gotten himself covered in curry or turmeric!"

This might sound funny, but as per the Wildlife Hospital's post the bird was unable to fly properly because the turmeric or the curry aprevented it from flying. They however clarifed that apart from the colour and smell, the bird was healthy. It was only when they picked up the bird from the highway A41 and inspected it, they realised that it is not an orange bird but a bird covered with yellow or orange mixture. The post then said that team of veterinary doctors treated the bird and cleaned off the feathers. They also said that the bird is better now and they will be able to release them soon.

In a gesture to remind of the incident, they have named the bird Vinny after the Vindaloo curry that is an authentic Indian curry dish from the region of Goa and surrounding Goan region. The post has recieved more than 2.7K likes with netizens finding the incident crazy.
