Is Mahesh Babu Ragging His 'Maharshi' Co-Star Allari Naresh? Watch This Video

Mahesh Babu and Allari Naresh are shooting for their upcoming film 'Maharshi'. While the former seems to have way too much fun on the sets at the expense of his co-star, according to reports, its all in fun and games. Recently a video from the film's set surfaced on the internet with the entire cast including the two stars enjoying a cake cutting session. The video mentioned that the cake cutting is for Allari Naresh's birthday celebrations. 

However, the actor's birthday falls on June 30 and buzz is that Mahesh Babu and his team were seen allegedly ragging Allari. However, the entire scene unfolded in good gesture. 

According to reports, Allari Naresh will be shooting140 days for  'Vamsi Paidpally' directorial 'Maharshi' in which both Mahesh Babu and Allari Naresh will be seen together as close friends. While Allari will reportedly be playing a student from marginalised background, Mahesh Babu will reportedly be seen playing a subsequently well-off guy named Rishi. 

The film marks Mahesh Babu's silver jubilee on screen, being his 25th film. The film's teaser was released on Mahesh Babu's birthday in August and fans have been showering their love on the teaser. The superstar from South even tweeted thanking his fans and well-wishers. Mahesh Babu in his tweet wrote: Overwhelmed after receiving so much love on my birthday🤗🤗... I am thankful to each one of you for your greetings & blessings. You all made me really, really happy!!! 🙏🙏🙏

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu's  last outing 'Bharat Ane Nenu' did exceptional business not just in India, but across the globe.'Bharat Ane Nenu' emerged to be the fastest 100 crores grosser of 2018 in India as well. The film, which released on 20 April 2018, has emerged as the fastest Rs 100 crores grosser in Tollywood after 'Baahubali' franchise. After a record-breaking start on day one, 'Bharat Ane Nenu' grossed over Rs 100 crore in just two days. The film even crossed 3 million USD in the USA with the utmost ease. The political drama featured Mahesh Babu playing the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. 'Bharat Ane Nenu' focused on Mahesh Babu's character showcasing the journey of a young graduate taking on the state to fight for the rights of his people. 

Talking about 'Maharshi', the film will be releasing on April 5, 2019.
