Some things never change. Age is actually 'just a number' when it stands opposite your mother's wrath. Everyone, despite their age, gender, and profession surrender before that force. If you think otherwise, here's proof - a Twitter user named 'Gone Native' recently put out a post on social media where she shared a screengrab of the recent text message she had sent to her mother informing that she and her father took a call to throw away one of her spice after it was infected by bugs. In a long text, she explained how they were left with no option but to throw a bottle of fennel seeds after it became absolutely impossible for them to get it rid of bugs.
“Mama, bugs have attacked your saunf bottle (and atta, but we saved it). Saunf has gone beyond redemption,” she wrote in the post. She further informed she then took to “executive decision to throw it away” and is breaking the news to her over text since her father, in his 70s, was afraid.
Take a look:
I am 40.

The tweet went viral on social media platforms and many on the internet found it relatable and shared the post widely on social media. Although the message followed another short text which read “I’m not scared”, many were in splits over how intimidated she was by her mother. People were unanimous in saying that one should never mess with a mother’s things.
Here's how people have responded to the post:

This whole text reeks of fear. The casual tone is not cutting it.

Haha it's fun when the sitcoms of our lives turn from Who's the Boss to seinfeld.

Can totally relate to the below conversation. I've had this conversation, with different seeds and different dead bugs, so many times with my mom. https://t.co/q3glCR3hsf
