Seven Months Pregnant Sania Mirza Graces Magazine Cover

Sania Mirza, who is expecting her first child with husband Shoaib Malik has graced the cover of the Sunday magazine of Hindustan Times' Brunch. Photographed by Rohan Shrestha at The Park Hyderabad earlier this week, the Tennis star's cover and pictures were unveiled in the issue dated Aug 12, 2018. 

The first look picture of the cover was released recently and the mom-to-be looks refreshingly stunning. The picture features Sania looking at herself in a mirror, with the reflection serving as the main image. A heavily pregnant Sania looks gorgeous in a white Zara top. In the interview for the magazine, Sania revealed that her baby bump has only started showing a couple of weeks ago since she has more muscle tone being an athlete. The duo may be extremely successful in their respective sports, however, when asked which sport she would pick for her child, Sania surprisingly said she would rather want her child to become a doctor.

Sania, 28, is 28 weeks into her pregnancy and is due in October. Sania Mirza tied the knot with former Pakistani cricket captain Shoaib Mallik in 2010 and their marriage was surrounded by much controversy given their respective nationalities. The couple currently resides in Dubai, but frequently pay visits to India and Pakistan. 

Meanwhile, as per reports, Sania Mirza could well join the bandwagon of sports celebrities to have a biopic made on her. According to reports, UTV head Ronnie Screwvala is interested in producing a biopic on Indian tennis star Sania Mirza. While the biopic was in the pipeline for quite a long time, it is reported that Ronnie Screwvala has now given his nod to the film. Born in Hyderabad, Sania Mirza holds the top position in the doubles discipline where she has won six Grand Slam titles. She started playing singles in 2003 and she retired from the same in 2013. Having won some prestigious awards which include Arjuna Awards, Padma Shri, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna and Padma Bhushan amongst others, Sania is the reportedly the highest paid sports personality in the country thereby making her the most successful female Indian tennis player.
