Spider-Man's entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe reportedly made many fans happy. The friendly neighbourhood hero swung back to his home terrains back in 2016's Captain America: Civil War. Marvel Studios and Sony productions reportedly struck a deal of co-producing solo Spider-Man movies basing him in the marvel universe. Tom Holland has been the face of Spider-Man ever since then. The actor portrayed the web-slinging character in Spider-man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and Spider-man: Far From Home. Back in summer, Kevin Fiege, the head of Marvel Studios had announced that Spider-Man will not be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe anymore. Fans took to Twitter and other social media to express their grievances with the decision and also started a petition to keep Spider-Man in the Marvel universe.

Now, it has been revealed that Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios will make the third Spider-Man movie. Marvel movies follow a well-written timeline, removing Spider-Man from the mix would have harmed the timeline of the cinematic universe. The previous Spider-Man ended on a huge cliffhanger which required clarifications. Fans were distressed to know that they will not be able to see what happens next to Spider-Man. Kevin Fiege has stated that he is thrilled about the fact that Spidey's journey will continue in the MCU. He believes that Spider-Man is an iconic character and his story transcends all boundaries across the globe. Spider-Man's last outing with the MCU Spider-Man: Far From Home earned a billion dollars at the global box-office.

As per a statement released, the two Hollywood studio giants were unable to settle on a financial deal which best suited them both. Hence Tom Holland's Spider-Man was reportedly going to make an entry in Tom Hardy's Venom-verse. This resulted in a fall out between the two studios. The third adventure of Spider-man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will release on July 16, 2021.
