Suriya to collaborate with 'Kaithi' director Lokesh Kanagaraj?

Fans are very excited about an untitled film which will feature South star Suriya and will reportedly be helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Suriya was recently seen in Kaappaan. While addressing media after the success of Kaithi, Suriya's brother and actor Karthi, hinted at the possibility of Lokesh Kanagaraj directing Suriya's next.
Suriya to collaborate with Kaithi director Lokesh Kanagaraj?
Managaram director Lokesh Kanagaraj's recent release Kaithi, which features Surya’s brother Karthi is performing well at the box office. Now, the filmmaker is all set for his next flick too. According to reports, the filmmaker has titled his next Irumbhu Kai Mayavai, which will feature Suriya in the lead. However, there is no official announcement on the film's title yet from the makers. But the buzz is very strong in the south film industry. Suriya's character will be based on that of superhero comic Steel Claw.
Apart from this, the ace director Lokesh Kanagaraj is also busy with Thalapathy Vijay's next film, which is tentatively called Thalapathy 64. Meanwhile, Suriya is busy shooting for Soorarai Pottru which is a drama. Suriya is expected to start shooting for the same as soon as he finishes shooting Soorarai Pottru.
Earlier, it was reported that Suriya will be collaborating with Siva for a new project. But the Viswasam director ended up signing a film with Rajinikanth, which is titled as Thalaivar 168. Also, Suriya has a lot of films in his hands including a film each with Gautham Menon and Hari.

Tamil actor Saravanan Sivakumar, popularly known as Suriya, made his debut with 1997 release Nerukku Ner. He got his first big break with the thriller film Kaakha Kaakha (2003). The actor also performed dual roles of a father and son in Gautham Menon's semi-autobiographical Vaaranam Aayiram (2008). His super-hit movies include Ayan, Anjan, 24, Vaaranam Aayiram, and many others.
