The April Fool fear is real and so is the trend by apps and products to prank their customers. This year, Dating app Tinder is following the trend and netizens fear if it is a premature April 1st prank.

Though the video shows the process of verification stating that those who will be accurate will have a verified symbol next to their accounts. Twitterati did not really believe it. The comment section was filled by hilarious replies with few actually putting out the list of all their dates that did not work because they were short in height. Others said that if they are serious, the world would have taken a leap to a different level. Yet, others were smart enough to troll their timing.

Tinder promoted the new feature accompanied by a blog post shaming users for 'height fishing' and reminding them that 'honesty is what separates humans from sinister monsters.'
