Ram Gopal Varma’s histrionics on Twitter might have reduced to some degree nowadays, but some of it is now being seen on the streets. After being detained for arguing with cops and forcibly been sent back from Vijayawada in April, this time, the veteran filmmaker blatantly violated traffic rules in Hyderabad by travelling triple seat and without a helmet. He even asked ‘Where is the Police?’,  following which the Cyberabad Police fined him and even asked him to not just report offences but also follow them.

RGV has been going gaga over the Telugu film ‘iSmart Shankar’ that hit the theatres recently. After celebrating with the team including director Puri Jagganadh and the actors Ram Pothineni, Niddhi Agerwal and Nabha Natesh and actor-producer Charmme Kaur. On Saturday, he got dressed ‘mass’ style to catch the film at a theatre in Moosapet. Sharing a pic on his way, he wrote, “RX 100’s Ajay Bhupathi, Lakshmi’s NTR’s Agasthya and me on a bike triple riding without helmet on our way to see #issmartshankar.”

Later, he even seemed to dare the police by sharing a video of the triple seat journey, writing, “Where is the Police? ..I think they are all inside the theatres watching.”

Several netizens tagged the Twitter accounts of the various police forces after which the Hyderabad City Police tagged the Cyberabad Traffic account.

They registered the violation against him and sent a screenshot of the challan with a fitting message, “ Thanks@RGVzoomin for reporting Traffic Violations. We expect the same responsibility in actually following the Traffic rules your self. By the way, why only theaters?, Traffic Police see a lot of drama, circus like below on roads every minute.”
