Wiz Khalifa, the 'See You Again' hitmaker back in India for a concert

Wiz Khalifa is back to India for his second tour of the country. The rapper was previously the headliner at the TimeOut festival which took place in Goa in 2017

After performing at a festival in Goa in 2017, Wiz Khalifa returns to India after two years with two shows, one in Delhi on September 14, and one in Mumbai slated for September 15. Sunburn, the premier platform for music had booked Khalifa to perform. He will be performing songs from his latest album Fly Times Vol. 1: The Good Fly Young, and he has added a couple of his most popular songs to the setlist too.

The names of the opening acts released for the show in Mumbai

Ananya Birla, Emiway Bantai, Monica Dogra, Ishani X Bobkat and The Mxxnlight are set to open for the ‘See You Again’ singer at the Jio Gardens in Mumbai. The tickets for Wiz Khalifa’s Sunburn arena concert started at Rs 1,499 and went up to Rs 3,999.

The multi-platinum singer is the most wanted amongst the hip-hop grooving community in India. Khalifa had previously toured India in 2017 for a three-city tour with the popular electronic dance must (EDM) artist Kygo, and went on to perform at Timeout 72, the music festival in Goa.

Khalifa’s climb to stardom was his 2010 single ‘Black and Yellow’, which climbed to the number spot on the Billboard Top 100. Khalifa’s hometown of Pittsburg declared 12-12-12 (December 12, 2012) to be Wiz Khalifa Day in the city.
