Woman makes funny faces, taunts lion after jumping into zoo enclosure

A rather shocking video has surfaced on the internet wherein a woman reportedly climbed inside the zoo enclosure in order to taunt a lion leaving people stunned

"You are not supposed to do that", wrote a netizen when he shared a rather shocking video of a woman who reportedly climbed inside the zoo enclosure in order to taunt a lion. In the video, the woman barrier jumps and steps through the foliage to face the lion who stares at her blankly. Further, stunning social media users she holds her arms out to lion & makes faces. At one point, she can also be seen dancing, wiggling her fingers and telling the animal that she loves it.

Internet disapproves: 

After the video went viral, many netizens took to social media to express their disappointment, displeasure, and disapproval over the horrific account. "Please don't cross barriers for videos,", "I’m just grateful the lion kept his distance", "This could have ended really badly", were some of the comments that were flooded on the post. And not just social media users, but reports suggest that the management of the Bronx Zoo where the incident took place were too left stunned. In a statement issued to the media, they said, "This action was a serious violation and unlawful trespass that could have resulted in serious injury or death,". They also claimed that they have a 'zero-tolerance policy' for incidents as such. However, this is not the first incident where something of the sort has happened in the zoo.

Back in 2016, the police detained two people over two days for venturing into off-limits areas, CBS New York reported. One man climbed a railing toward a snow leopard enclosure, while a woman blew past signs to the back of an exhibit to take pictures, police told the news station.
