The India vs. Pakistan match has been an exhilarating, although turbulent, experience for the Indian audiences. While the match initially took place on September 10, sudden rain had led to a postponement until today. Now that Team India has successfully completed their stint at batting, largely due to KL Rahul’s 111 runs out of the 356 total figure, his wife-actress Athiya Shetty has reacted to the same.

Athiya reacts to KL Rahul’s astounding return

Taking to Instagram, Athiya shared a few glimpses of KL Rahul during the match. She shared a picture of the cricketer gazing at the sky while celebrating his performance. She also shared a clip of Rahul shooting the ball into the distance and managing to score two runs. Her post also included a picture of the scorecard, which showed KL Rahul’s 111 runs in 106 balls.

In the video, he said, "I tried chasing a ball, but my tendon snapped. I had a full-fledged tear, my tendon ripped apart from my quadriceps. When it happened, my family, franchise and everyone had their fingers crossed hoping it was not something big, but a small strain that could go in two weeks.”
