Dulquer Salmaan teams up with Venky Atluri for Lucky Baskhar, shares first look poster

Dulquer Salmaan is celebrating his 37th birthday today (July 28), and on this occasion, the actor has announced his next film with filmmaker Venky Atluri. The actor also shared a first-look poster of the film on his social media handle. The film, titled Lucky Baskhar, will mark the first collaboration between the actor and director.

Dulquer Salmaan announces new film on birthday

The actor took to his Instagram handle to share the film's poster. In the first-look poster, we can see the actor's face covered with old 100 rupee currency. The film is titled Lucky Baskhar, and looking at the poster, it seems like the movie will revolve around a financial scam.

The official page of Sithara Entertainments shared the poster and wrote, "Presenting you #LuckyBaskhar - Embark on a Captivating Journey, The Unraveling Triumphs of an Ordinary Man! Wishing the man of elegance and charm, Dulquer Salmaan, a very Happy Birthday!"

What do we know about Lucky Baskhar?

The film will be produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The film's music will be composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The composer took to his Twitter handle to share his excitement about working with the team. 

He tweeted, "Presenting u  #LuckyBaskhar - happy to join hands with venkyatluri and nagvamsi sir after the success of vaathi… and super happy to collaborate with Dulquer for the first time … a super exciting script to work on." He added, "Wishing the man of elegance and charm, Dulquer, a very Happy Birthday."

Banglan, who worked on films like Safe and Kurup, is on board as a production designer, while Navin Nooli is the editor. Other details regarding the cast and crew have been kept underwraps.
