When Rana Daggubati scolded producers after 'big Bollywood actress' wasted Dulquer's time

Dulquer Salmaan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film King of Kotha. On Monday, the makers hosted a pre-release event in Hyderabad, attended by Rana Daggubati and Nani. During the event, the Baahubali actor praised Dulquer's calm attitude and recalled an incident when he scolded the producers after a "big Bollywood actress" wasted Dulquer's time on the set.

Why Rana Daggubati scolded the producers of Dulquer Salmaan's film?

During a pre-release event, Rana Daggubati spoke about Dulquer's calm attitude and revealed they became friends when the Sita Ramam actor was his junior at acting school. Opening up on his polite nature, he revealed an incident when Dulquer was doing a Bollywood film, and the actress working with the actor wasted his time. 

"The shoot was happening near my house. I went there to meet Dulquer. While he was standing in the corner with the spot boy, a big Hindi heroine who was doing that movie was engrossed in a phone conversation about shopping in London with her husband," said Rana Daggubati. He continued that the actress' "lack of focus" affected not just the shots’ quality, but also frustrated the others on the set. However, in this situation, Dulquer remained calm and understanding.

Seeing this, Rana couldn't control his anger and went up to the producers and scolded them for the actress' behaviour.

Meanwhile, both the stars are all set to come together for the next project. Dulquer, on his birthday (July 28), announced a multilingual film Kaantha, helmed by Selvamani Selvaraj. The movie will be produced by Rana Daggubati's Spirit Media and co-produced by Dulquer's Wayfarer Films. In the film, the Mahanati actor will be playing a challenging role.
