He had a tradition of spending Christmas with his family, but that plan did not work out. Little Minnesota

This is the 11th episode of How I Met Your Mother Season 4, which was first aired on December 15, 2008. In this episode, Ted meets his sister who comes to New York in order to see her brother during Christmas. The two are then seen at their usual spots like the bar and Ted’s place while the brother tries to keep his sister out of trouble. This episode also features Robin’s pop song, Lets Go To The Mall. Robin was introduced to a new concept of Minnesota-themed bars by Marshall. The episode ends with a very good tone of Ted adapting to the fact that his sister was old enough to take care of her responsibilities.

The Final Page - Part One and Two

This episode is surely one of the most important episodes when it comes to the plot of How I Met Your Mother. It is the famous hour-long episode of Season 8 which was aired in two separate half-hour episodes on December 17. The episode starts with Barney being jinxed by Marshall, which did not allow him to speak until they uttered the same phrase simultaneously. They take such traditions and regulations very seriously. Barney tries to win Robin by enacting the last play from his Playbook. The most attractive thing about the episodes is how each character ends up happy by the end. Ted gets to open his own building and Robin, Barney, Marshall, and Lily are shown happily in their respective couplings.
