The makers of the show have left no stone unturned for the show’s success, as they have managed to rope in Bollywood singers Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar and Anu Malik as the judges for the fresh season. The competition is fierce this season, as there are a bunch of talented singers participating in the show. In a recent episode, a contestant, Azmat Hussain caught the attention of everyone. Azmat Hussain and his journey
In one of the recent episodes of Indian Idol, Neha Kakkar recalled seeing Azmat Hussain in another reality show, as he entered the stage. On asking, Hussain revealed that he was eight when he won the famous singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2011. Azmat shared some dark secrets from his past too. He confessed that even though he won the show, he hardly could satisfy his basic needs. Azmat Hussain added that his voice was not accepted anymore, as it had changed with time. A teary-eyed Azmat revealed that there was a phase when he was depressed and clueless about his future. The 18-year-old admitted that he eventually quit singing for almost three years.

Azmat’s audition
Azmat Hussain was given a second chance by Anu Malik and Neha Kakkar. However, Vishal Dadlani suggested him to work more on his voice. Hussain decided to quit and rehearse more, as he did not want to go ahead with just two votes. Azmat’s story made everyone emotional in the audience, including judge Neha Kakkar.
