Indian Idol 11: Neha Kakkar forcibly kissed by contestant on stage

One of the judges in an Indian television reality show, Neha Kakkar has been forcibly kissed by a contestant. During an audition, a participant tried to hug and planted a kiss on her cheek. He was wearing a traditional Rajasthani outfit and a headgear. Neha got up the stage and he asked her if she remembers him. The judge tries to recognise him and agreed to accept the gifts happily.

About the incident: How did it happen?

Much to the singer’s surprise, the contestant forcibly kissed her on the cheek. The other judges looked shocked. On the other hand, the host of the show Indian Idol Aditya Narayan tries to stop him. Neha Kakkar has been part of the judges panel

Neha Kakkar is a well-known playback singer and is known for her peppy songs which have topped the charts on several occasions. some of her most well-known songs are Cheez Badi hai Mast Mast from Machine, Kala Chasma from Baar Baar Dekho, Coca Cola Tu and Main Tera Boyfriend.

Neha's fans online, took offence to the video, with one user saying, "Kissing someone without their consent is sexual assault.", another user said, " What happened was totally uncalled for".

Neha Kakkar was also a part of the show in the last season and was complimented for being a very helpful and motivating judge on the show. Other judges on the show are Anu Malik and Vishal Dadlani, with Aditya Narayan hosting the season.
