Popular Bollywood and television producer Ekta Kapoor’s sequel to Kasautii Zindagii Kay with the same title has been in the headlines for various reasons. The debutant Erica Fernandes’s performance has been widely appreciated by fans. But recently the show has been garnering attention due to its shocking twists and turns. When Anurag married Komolika

Even though Anurag (essayed by Parth Samthaan) promised to marry Prerna (essayed by Erica Fernandes), he gets engaged to Komolika. She hires men to execute her plan of killing Rajesh and Moloy in an accident. She successfully convinces Anurag to get married to her stating that as the last wish of Moloy. In exchange, Komolika agrees to save their company that was under loss. Anurag marries Komolika and breaks his promise to his love interest Prerna.

Prerna marries Mr.Bajaj

Mr. Bajaj (essayed by Karan Singh Grover) succeeds to separate Anurag and Prerna, which is his only goal. When Anurag expresses that Prerna will stand by his side, he is betrayed when she holds onto Mr. Bajaj’s hand instead. She is seen walking towards the Mandap with him willingly, which shocks Anurag. Once again, Anurag and Prerna could not be together.

Komolika comes back from the dead

To everyone’s knowledge, Komolika (essayed by Hina Khan) is dead. However, after a major accident, she manages to come back from the dead with a complete face change through plastic surgery. She is seen with a doctor who helps her come back to life. Aamna Shariff is seen essaying the role of the villainous Komolika post-Hina Khan's leave.
