Kaun Banega Crorepati is currently hosted by veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan. The show has been very popular since its inception. It is now in its 11th season and has proven to be a great success in the country. KBC is considered to be a great platform wherein citizens from different states in India share their inspirational stories too, before playing the game. Here is what happened in last night's episode.
Narendra Kumar, a constable in the Uttar Pradesh Police Force, wins in yesterday's Fastest Finger First round and lands a chance at the hot seat with Amitabh Bachchan. Today, the show continues with Narendra Kumar who plays a good game and takes home a large sum of three Lakhs and twenty thousand. Three sports veterans, Virender Sehwag, Dutee Chand, and Hima Das came to sit on the hot seat with Amitabh Bachchan. Athletes Hima Das and Dutee Chand have brought immense fame and pride to the country. Dutee Chand, a sprint runner, has been a national champion in the women's 100 meters race. On the other side, Hima Das is the first Indian woman to win a gold medal at the IAAF World U20 Championship. Virender Sehwag, the former Indian cricketer, was also present at Kaun Banega Crorepati 11 to support the two.
Dutee Chand got an opportunity to speak to Amitabh Bachchan. She said that there was a time when there was nothing to eat in her house and their conditions were so bad that when the vegetables would fall in the nearby market, they used to take those home and make food with it, in order to survive. The two contestants played well at the show until the hooter bell rang, hinting that the time for the show was up and thus with that, the next episode shall unveil what lies in store for Dutee Chand and Hima Das.
