Komolika: Three actors who have essayed the villainous character

Kasautii Zindagii Kay is a television serial that revolves around Prerna and Anurag(the lead couple), and Komolika, a popular villain amongst television serial enthusiasts. The initial version of the daily soap aired between 2001 to 2008 according to IMDb and since then there have been three actresses who have essayed the role of the famous vamp. In both the versions of the show, Komolika aims to destroy the lives of protagonists Anurag Basu and Prerna. Urvashi Dholakia

Urvashi Dholakia was the original Komolika, who was part of the 2001-2008 broadcast of the television show. According to several media reports, Komolika was popular for her entry song. She adorned heavy accessories and bold make-up. Urvashi Dholakia as Komolika had several looks across the eight years of the show.

Hina Khan

Hina Khan was a part of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 for a short period of time. However, her role was a fresher version of Komolika. She was seen adorning the bold look, but this time the hair was let loose. She wore a mix of indo-western outfits with heavy jewellery to complete her villainous look.

Aamna Shariff

Aamna Shariff replaced Hina Khan earlier in October this year. According to reports, Hina had to quit due to her film’s shooting commitments. Aamna Shariff was seen in a reprised version of the old Komolika in the early 2000s Aamna Shariff’s first look revealed her in blue contemporary Indian look and chunky jewellery. She once again shook the audience with the typical walk and antics.
