On the professional front, Mrunal will be seen next in Rakesh Omprakash Mehra's Toofan. Touted to be a sports-drama, the movie will feature Farhan Akthar and Mrunal Thakur in the lead. The forthcoming movie is all set to hit the silver screen in 2020. Other than Toofan, the actor will reportedly feature in Shahid Kapoor's Jersey. The movie is reportedly the remake of  theTelugu movie of the same name.
