However, things took a bitter turn when Fahmaan opened up on his fallout with Sumbul. Now, the actress has broken her silence on their rift.

In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Sumbul was asked about her feud with her Imlie co-star Fahmaan Khan, who has blamed her father for their fallout. The actress seemed to be avoiding the topic by keeping her silence on the issue. She said, “Right now also, I don’t prefer talking about it. All I can say is that I wish him the best. That’s all.”

Fahmaan reveals reason behind fallout with Sumbul 

Previously, Fahmaan has said in an interview that while he never had any issues with Sumbul, her father did. The actor revealed that he was slated to work with Sumbul for a music video but she was instructed to cancel the song by the latter's father. Speaking on the same, Fahmaan revealed that Sumbul's father didn't appreciate a video clip showing the actress lying on the actor's hand as they dozed off on the Imlie sets.

The actor said, "We never had any issues with each other. Her father Touqeer Sahab had but let’s not get there. But the thing that changed after me coming out with the truth is that people understood my side and that’s what I wanted eventually."

Fahmaan explained why he initially came forward and told his side of the tale. The actor said he withheld information for a long time but had to deal with criticism for no apparent reason, which is why he finally revealed the cause of his falling out with Sumbul.
