Adnan Sami who is trolled regularly or more so after the abrogation of Article 370, has come down heavily on Pakistani's saying that they are 'frustrated with their own lives', and that they are taking it out on him since they know that he has moved on. This was the answer to when a user on Twitter asked the singer, “You get so much flak from the Pakistanis. How do you cope?”
My dear, it’s okay; they’re basically helpless, misguided & frustrated about their own lives & are taking it out on me since they know I moved on. I forgive them & pray that God improves their lives. They are actually victims...Hugs.🙏💖🤗 https://t.co/E8H5azu3yG

Sami was born in London to a Pakistani diplomat father and his mother was from Jammu and Kashmir. The singer relocated to India in the late 1990s and took Indian nationality on January 1, 2016 after giving up his Pakistani citizenship.
On August 14 (Pakistan's Independence Day), a user asked Adnan Sami why he doesn't tweet on India's Independence Day, to which he said, he will on August 15. Sami gave it back to the troll with an example of Jinnah.
Really... Jinnah was not faithful to his motherland... What should we call him then?😉 https://t.co/BivMlau1y6

Back in June, singer Adnan Sami's Twitter account was allegedly hacked on Tuesday by Ayyildiz Tim, the same Turkish hacker group, Ayyildiz Tim, which attacked megastar Amitabh Bachchan's micro blogging page a day ago. Similar to how Bachchan's profile was compromised, the group replaced Sami's profile picture with a photo of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and changed the bio, adding "Ayyildiz Tim Love Pakistan" with an emoji of Pakistani and Turkish flags. The group had previously hacked Twitter accounts of actors Shahid Kapoor and Anupam Kher among others as well.
Sami previously held a Pakistani passport and received Indian citizenship in 2016.
