Aamir Khan condemns the dastardly Pulwama terror attack on CRPF, says 'I am heartbroken, it is so tragic'

On Thursday afternoon, an IED blast in the Pulwama district along the Jammu-Srinagar highway rocked the 70-vehicle convoy of CRPF jawans who were heading from Jammu back to Srinagar.

On Thursday afternoon, an IED blast in the Pulwama district along the Jammu-Srinagar highway rocked the 70-vehicle convoy of CRPF jawans who were heading from Jammu back to Srinagar. A total of 37 CRPF jawans were martyred and several others were injured from the terror attack. Terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) claimed the responsibility for the attack. Many of the Bollywood stars conveyed their condolences to the families, prayers for the injured and the need to hit back at the perpetrators. 

Reacting to the dastardly Pulwama terror attack on CRPF, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan stated that he was completely heartbroken to read about the terrorist attack and that the entire incident is quite tragic.

Apart from him, other actors in the likes of Ajay Devgn, Priyanka Chopra and Anupam Kher expressed their shock and outrage over the incident.

The 54 Battalion of CRPF was targeted by the terrorists as their vehicle was attacked with an IED blast. There were 35 personnel aboard the vehicle that was attacked and as per CRPF sources, 100 kg of explosive was used in IED blast. Moreover, Pakistan backed Jaish-e-Mohammed claimed responsibility for the biggest terror attack in the last 15 years, in a text message to Kashmiri News Agency GNS.
