Abhishek Bachchan has always been open about suffering from dyslexia. The actor has also worked towards spreading awareness about the learning disability.
Popular actor Abhishek Bachchan, son of superstar Amitabh Bachchan, was diagnosed with dyslexia at a young age of 9. Dyslexia affects the learning abilities of an individual who is diagnosed with the condition. However, Amitabh Bachchan made sure that his son can carry on with his education properly and sent him to a European school according to sources. Abhishek who is now a Bollywood celebrity said in an interview recently that it is important to find comfortable education resources for children diagnosed with dyslexia and one should not differentiate between kids with or without dyslexia. The 'Dhoom' star, and his wife, Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai, are proud parents to six-year-old Aaradhya.
Abhishek had opened up about his condition as a child in 2011. He was attending a Youth Summit in Chennai to spread awareness about the mental and physical health of children. According to reports, Abhishek has never hidden the fact about his learning disorder from the media. Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par, a 2007 film on dyslexia also mentioned Abhishek Bachchan as someone who has successfully defeated the learning disability. Abhishek does not miss any opportunity to talk about his condition and spread awareness on how to tackle the same.
Abhishek Bachchan gears up for his next movie
Abhishek Bachchan was recently seen supporting his team Jaipur Pink Panthers in the Pro Kabaddi League. Meanwhile, has also reportedly begun shooting for his next movie at the Qutub Minar in Delhi. Reportedly the film is a dark drama which is named as The Big Bull. The film is directed by Kookie Gulati and produced by Ajay Devgan. Last week, Abhishek shared the image and reminisced older days when he used to visit Delhi as a kid.
