Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur who was last seen in a lead role in the 2017 film 'Ok Jaanu' is currently shooting for 'Kalank'. The actor who started off as a VJ, is reportedly looking to return to the small screen. As per reports in a Mumbai based tabloid, the actor will be hosting an adventure reality show that is expected to go on the floors by the year-end and will be shot across the country. As per the report, a source has informed that the production house had approached him as he is into fitness and adventure sports and has a connect with the younger audience. These were the specifications the makers were looking into particularly.

Aditya is expected to sign the contract once his dates for his film 'Sadak 2' are finalised. The show reportedly will follow contestants as they travel to popular destinations in India and compete in various fitness-related tasks. The 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' actor had started his career as a VJ before making his acting debut in the 2009 film 'London Dreams.'The film was directed by Vipul Shah and featured Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Rannvijay Sinha and Asin as leads. He was later seen in films like 'Action Replayy', 'Guzaarish', 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' and played solo hero in films like 'Aashiqui 2' and 'Fitoor'.

Aditya Kapur is currently shooting for a multi-starrer film titled 'Kalank'. The film directed by Abhishek Varman will also feature Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Sonakshi Sinha. The 32-year-old actor was last seen in a brief appearance in the Sonkashi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh-starrer Welcome to New York in February this year.
