Pakistani-origin singer Adnan Sami, who is now an Indian citizen, who has time and again received flak on social media by Pakistani users for being a proud Indian citizen, took to his Twitter handle to once again give it back to a Pakistani YouTube channel who made a derogatory remark against the singer living in India.
Commenting on an interaction between a troll and Sami, Haqeeqat TV (Pakistani social channel) dropped a comment directing to Adnan saying that he lives in India on only one condition that is 'to abuse Pakistanis'. Responding to the same, Sami said that he doesn't need to abuse them and the current 'state of existence' is a 'curse' for Pakistanis. Read his full tweet -
This is not the first time Adnan Sami has hit back at trolls from Pakistan. The singer has been praised by many on Twitter for hitting back at them with his wit and tongue-in-cheek humour.
Undue provocation is no longer going to be tolerated. I’ve taken nonsense for years in silence. Evidently, the so called ‘moral higher ground’ doesn’t work today. Some (not all) need to be shown their due place! Respect & thou shall be respected. Troll & thou shall be trolled!😊 https://t.co/kUq70gTk4Q

Anyone at his place might have lost his temperament and might have reacted in uncivilized manner for the continuous abusive trolls he is facing every day but he kept his head cool and replied within control to unprovoked abusive trolls.

ADNAN SAMI'S 2016 COMMENT
The 43-year-old musician said everyone from artistes to common people in both the nations want peace between both the nations. "People say that artists always want peace, they call them the messengers of peace and so on and so forth. Although it is true, I don't think artistes are the only ones who should get this 'beautiful credit'. I think all our citizens want peace, not just artists."
Drawing an analogy regarding the current India-Pak situation, he said, "The way I look at it, if my neighbour's house, for any reason, is producing garbage and that garbage is coming to my house then how is it right? What am I supposed to do? I will go to him and tell him to keep clean." Sami appealed to Pakistan that it should join hands with India to eliminate terrorism and not take the surgical strike "personally". "Terrorism doesn't have a border. Terrorists attack Mumbai, Peshawar and also Paris," said the singer at an event.

"Eliminate it. If you won't do it alone, let us do it together so that we and our children can live in this world in peace. That is it. There is nothing more to it. It is as simple as that. Why are you taking this personally? You yourself know there are suicide bombers who blast themselves in Mosques, so if someone is helping you eliminate it, you should be thankful."
