After Creating Record, Virat Kohli Celebrates First Karwa Chauth With Anushka Sharma; Here Are Couple's Lovely Posts For Each Other

Karwa Chauth was celebrated with fervour across the country and by Indians around the world on Saturday. Celebrity couples also indulged in love for their spouses and also shared lovely moments with each other throughout the day. For Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, one of the most popular of the lot, it was the first such moment to celebrate the custom.

And the actor-cricketer duo’s pictures and the messages they wrote for each other on the occasion were truly heartwarming. The day would be memorable for the Indian cricket captain not just for the Indian tradition. It also turned out to be lucky for him, as he scored his third hundred in a row, becoming the first Indian to do so, in the ongoing cricket series against West Indies. After the match, which unfortunately ended in a loss for the team, the cricketer and the ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ actor, enjoyed loved-up moments in the presence of the moon. Most likely it is Anushka, who headed to Pune, where the match took place, and not the cricketer rushing back to Mumbai.

In the pictures that the duo shared on social media, Anushka looked beautiful in a saree, with the 'sindhoor' (vermillion) on the top of her forehead. Virat is dressed in a kurta-pyjama with the ‘teeka’ on his forehead, obviously, the one that his wife would've applied during the custom. And what looks like the ‘pooja thali' was in his hand, which the actor would’ve moved over his face during the ceremony. 

The couple’s messages for each other were all metaphors from the sky. The ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ star called her husband her ‘moon’, ‘sun’, ‘star’ and ‘everything’ while the latter summed it all up, calling his wife his ‘universe’ and 'life'. Virushka’s selfies have always broken the Internet, right from the ‘leaked’ one of them as a married couple in December last year. And this time the ‘Pati’ and ‘Patni’ had a ‘Woh’, the moon, we mean, in their self-clicked snap.
