Aishwarya Rai Skips Joint Appearance With Abhishek At Anant's Wedding, Reignites Divorce Rumours

Rumours have been rife about a rift in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan's marriage. Even though the speculations may have died down in the past few weeks, the hearsay reignited once again as Aishwarya skipped a joint appearance with the Bachchan family, who showed up in full strength, at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding in Mumbai on July 12.

At the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, the Bachchan family marked its presence in full. However, what caught everyone's eyes was Aishwarya Rai arriving separately from the entire family. The actress was accompanied by her daughter Aaradhya. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek, Shweta, Nikhil Nanda, Navya Naveli and Agastya arrived together, dressed in exquisite Indian ethnic attires.

While both Aishwarya and Abhishek have remained tight-lipped about the rumoured rift in the marriage, speculations continue to rise with public moments such as these.

One of the clips from the wedding has gone viral on social media and shows Aishwarya sharing a candid moment with veteran actress Rekha.

Following their wedding on July 12, the couple will host an event on July 13 as well. The event called Shubh Ashirvad or divine blessings, is about the guests at the wedding showering their blessings at the newlyweds and wishing them good luck on their new journey together. The dress code for the event is Indian formal. It will also be held at the Jio World Centre.

Anant-Radhika's Shubh Vivaah will be followed by Shubh Aashirwad on July 13 and Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception on July 14.
