Ajay Devgn Admits Being Unsure Of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Box Office Success: Story Is Great But…

Ajay Devgn is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Auron Mein Kya Dum Tha. The film marks his tenth collaboration with co-star Tabu and is directed by Neeraj Pandey. Ahead of the film’s release on July 5, the actor spoke about his first reaction when he heard the script. 

Ajay Devgn talks about being unsure of Auron Mein Kya Dum Tha box office 

Ajay Devgn, along with the cast and crew members of Auron Mein Kya Dum Tha attended the trailer launch event of the movie in Mumbai on June 13. The actors spoke about the film and their first reaction of when they heard the script. The director of the movie Neeraj Pandey claimed that he has waited 16 years to make the movie. He said, “The first film that I wanted to make 16 years ago was a love story, but unfortunately, no producer supported me back then. But I'm happy that after 16 years I can finally make a love story and that too with such a stellar cast.” 

Ajay Devgn also revealed his first reaction to the movie and shared, “When Neeraj had narrated the script to me, I loved it but before giving my nod, I remember telling him that the story is great but I'm not sure about the box office. But he asked me to not worry about it and said he'll handle it, and thus, I said yes to the film.” The actor’s comments are now doing rounds on social media. 

Ajay Devgn stresses the importance of experimenting with his role 

During the appearance, the Singham star confessed that financial pressures always cloud one’s mind when doing a film but that cannot deter a movie. He added, “The doubt whether a film will work financially or not is always there but it's important that we go against the trend and do something different. I've been doing it since the time no one else would do it, and the things I learnt back then help me a lot to this day.”

Auron Main Kahan Dum Tha also stars Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar in key roles. The music of the film has been composed by Oscar-winner, MM Keeravaani. Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha will hit the silver screens on July 5, 2024.
