The blockbuster director Rohit Shetty created the Golmaal franchise which has been unanimously accepted and loved by the people. Shetty seems to have hit the jackpot since his initial partnership with Ajay Devgn in his films. The movies Golmaal, Golmaal Again, Golmaal 3 has also gone on to receive a favourable response from the audience. He went on to add that Ajay was never one to complain or make demands, he rather would go with what was required of him. Commenting on Ajay's role in his Golmaal series, Rohit said that a lot of the dialogues from the movie would not be appreciated as much as it was today. Rohit attributed it to the industry's changed mindset, and the dialogue of “Girls want father-figure partner and she (Parineeti Chopra) has the figure and you (Ajay Devgn) is the father” went on to become an iconic one.
