The Big Bull goes on the floors
On September 16, Ajay Devgn had posted a picture of the clapper board from the mahurat shot. The caption on his post read “Welcome aboard again @bachchan @anandpandit @kumarmangatpathak @kookievgulati #TheBigBull (sic)”. A similar picture had been shared by Abhishek Bachhan on his Instagram handle announcing The Big Bull. Bollywood had come out to wish the two actors good luck for their project.
Ajay Devgn posted the first poster of The Big Bull on his Instagram handle the next day. This picture was captioned as 'An Unreal Story' and marked the start of filming. The caption is also the tagline of the movie. The poster of The Big Bull has an interesting look. The name of the movie is in golden fonts on a background of a metallic bull.
Ajay Devgn-produced, The Big Bull, is reportedly based on the life of Harshad Mehta, the infamous stockbroker who was charged in relation to the Securities Scam of 1992. The timeline covered by the film is the events between 1990-2000. India’s financial sector had gone through a huge churn in this time period.
According to sources, Ajay Devgn was reportedly interested in the project as soon as it was pitched to him last year. The Big Bull is Ajay Devgn’s second time producing a movie starring Abhishek Bachchan after Bol Bachchan. But unlike the previous time, Ajay is not a part of the cast but will only produce it. Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan had previously shared screen space in Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag, Zameen, Yuva and Bol Bachchan.
