Akshay Kumar cuts birthday cake with Shikhar Dhawan, Ujjain SP after Mahakal temple visit

Akshay Kumar ringed his 56th birthday on September 9. To celebrate, the actor paid a visit to the Mahakal temple in Ujjain. Post his temple visit, the actor cut his birthday cake in the city. A photo from the birthday celebration was shared by the actor’s fan account and is now doing rounds on social media.

To make the day even more special, post his temple visit, the OMG 2 actor cut a cake in the presence of some important personalities. As Kumar cut his cake, Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan was seen clapping for him. The actor also posed with the Superintendent of Police of Ujjain.

A fan page of the actor shared a photo of the celebrations. In the photos, Akshay donned a causal attire comprising of a black t-shirt with matching track pants. Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan can be seen in a white kurta-pyjama set. 

Akshay Kumar offers prayers at Mahakal temple 

Before cutting the cake at the birthday celebrations, the actor offered prayers at the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain. In a viral video, he could be seen performing the aarti whilst dressed in an orange dhoti and a scarf. The actor was accompanied by his sister, niece and son Aarav. Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and his family also accompanied the OMG 2 actor.

The actor even addressed the media during his visit. When asked about his purpose for the visit and what he wished for, the actor claimed that he wished for the country’s growth. He also mentioned being grateful to be able to get “Baba’s aashirvaad” on his birthday.
