Akshay Kumar extends Lohri wishes to fans with latest still from 'Kesari', take a look
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has shared a special message for his fans on the auspicious occasion on Lohri. Taking to social media, the 'Singh Is Kinng' actor shared a new still from his upcoming period war drama film 'Kesari'. The picture features Akshay as Havildar Isher Singh with the Saragarhi unit of the 36th Sikh Regiment.

Taking to social media, the 'Singh Is Kinng' actor shared a new still from his upcoming period war drama film 'Kesari'. The black and white picture from the film features Akshay as Havildar Isher Singh sitting with fellow actors impersonating the Saragarhi unit of the 36th Sikh Regiment.
Extending Lohri wishes on the social media, Akshay Kumar captioned the photo saying in Punjabi:
"Dushman de saahmne jad tak soormeyaan diyaan hikkaan tanndiyaan rehangiyaan, Iss dharti te lohriyaan manndiyaan rehangiyaan!! 36th Sikh Regiment di Saragarhi tukdi vallon sabnu Lohri diyaan bahut bahut vadhaayian!" which translates to: "As long as we stand strong in front of the enemy, we will keep on celebrating Lohri. 36th Sikh Regiment wishes everyone happy Lohri!"

Earlier, the actor shared an overwhelming picture of himself as Havildar Ishar Singh all clad in beard and turban. Sharing the news about the final wrap of the shooting of the film, Akshay Kumar had stated that the film 'Kesari' 'swells up his chest with immense pride'.
Directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Karan Johar, the period war drama features Parineeti Chopra and Akshay Kumar in the pivotal roles for the first time.
The film is based on the battle that took place in 1897 between British Indian Army and Afghan Orakzai tribesmen in North-West Frontier Province (now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa). It is a story about an army of 21 Sikhs which fought against 10,000 Afghans in the war.
The movie is all set to hit the theatres on 21st March 2019.
