Over the years Akshay Kumar has been a part of multiple cop drama films. Akshay Kumar is known to take up varied roles along the lines of real stories, or films that give a social message. Rustom, Padman, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha are some of his releases that echoes either of the above-mentioned sentiment. Out of all his roles as a cop below are the ones that stood out.

Sabse Bada Khiladi (1995)

One of the initial films in the Khiladi series, Sabse Bada Khiladi saw Akshay portraying Vijay who is a cop. Inspector Vijay is on the quest of solving a mysterious murder. The Umesh Mehra directorial was a masala flick, according to various reviews.

Insaaf: The Final Justice (1997)

The film exposed the corruption and criminals hid by political blankets. Akshay Kumar is on a journey to search for the killer of an innocent witness in this film. Shilpa Shetty and Paresh Rawal were also seen in pivotal roles in this story. The storyline witnesses Akshay Kumar making sudden discoveries regarding the murder. The complete gist of the story is that the cop is trying to serve justice.

Khakee (2004)

Akshay Kumar was a part of another cop flick but this time he was seen as a second lead to Amitabh Bachchan. A film revolving around cops dealing with terrorist escorting and reallocation saw Akshay yet again upholding the laws and being part of an honest team. Ajay Devgn, Aishwarya Rai and Amitabh Bachchan were other stars in the cop story Khakee.

Rowdy Rathore (2012)

The Prabhudeva film saw Akshay Kumar in a double role. He played the eccentric and conniving conman and also a virtuous IPS officer in the film. The film saw extensive action and drama scenes. The audiences loved the songs and Akshay’s performance in this movie.

Akshay Kumar’s next
