Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh are currently on a promotional tour for their upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. On July 24, the actors landed in Kolkata, West Bengal to unveil the new song Dhindhora Baje Re. Later, the actress shared a video from the event which saw them getting involved in a fun banter.

Alia Bhatt rehearses Bengali
Alia Bhatt shared a video from the recent song launch event in Kolkata. In the video, she could be seen rehearsing phrases in Bengali which she would later use to greet the audience. However, at the end of the video, when the actress greets the people, she forgot the rehearsed lines.
The audience burst into laughter as Alia forgot her lines in Bengali. What stole the show was Ranveer Singh's quip. Alia's Gully Boy co-star poked fun and said, “So cute, yaar. Tu homework karke ayi thi. Exam ke time sab bhool gayi" (So cute. You did the homework but forgot the main thing on the exam day). The actress then attempted to start over and wooed the audience with her perfect accent.

Alia and Ranveer launched the fourth song from the film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Dhindora Baje Re.
The song featured the lead actors dancing in celebration of the Bengali festival of Durga Puja. The actors twinned in red in the music video. The song was released after the first three tracks Tum Kya Mile, What Jhumka and Ve Kamleya.
