In it, her fans could buy some handpicked favourites from Alia’s personal closet. The funds generated would be used for the good by giving away the proceeds to charity. The money generated was used to light up homes of 40 families in Kikkeri, in the Mandya district of Karnataka. Art for the Heart Alia Bhatt has started an initiative in order to raise funds through a painting exhibition for children suffering from heart diseases. She named the exhibition Art of the Heart at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children in Mumbai. Alia was accompanied by Sumitra Venkatesh, who is a paediatric cardiologist at the hospital. She has been associated with a lot of activities related to the welfare of street cats and conservation of sea turtles. But she has now started a movement in which old pieces of denim are used to create reflective collars for street dogs. The collars are very useful as it makes it easier for a motorcyclist to see the dogs from a distance.
