The Bollywood veteran, Amitabh Bachchan, was born on October 11, 1942. The actor celebrated his 77th birthday recently. Having done over 190 films in Bollywood, Big B also had a successful career as a playback singing and as a TV host. Bollywood has showered numerous wishes for Big B's birthday through social media sites like Twitter and Instagram. Many fans gathered outside his house Jalsa on account of the star's birthday. Agneepath (1990)

The most famous dialogue from this movie has to be "Pura naam, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, Baap ka Naam, Dinanath Chauhan, Maa ka Naam, Suhasini Chauhan, Gaon Mandwa, Umar Chhattis saal." Directed by Mukul Anand, the cast included Mithun Chakraborty, Madhavi, Neelam Kothari, and Danny Denzongpa as the dreaded antagonist Kancha Cheena. Amitabh's dialogues as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan created a massive hype during that period and the movie became an instant blockbuster hit.

Namak Haraam (1973)

"Hai kisi maa ke laal me himmat, jo mere saamne aaye?" says Vikram Mahara (Vicky) and the movie name is Namak Haram. Amitabh Bachchan recently shared through social media that Namak Haram bore the seeds of anger, which was next seen in Zanjeer, post which the media titled him as the 'Angry young man'. 

Zanjeer (1973)

With Zanjeer, Amitabh Bachchan changed the Bollywood trend of romantic movies towards the action movies. The late Pran's role was also massively appreciated by his fans and the film critics as well. Amitabh Bachchan was seen in the role of Vijay as a police officer. The film shifted Amitabh's career journey from a supporting actor into an overnight rising star thus ending his struggling period in Bollywood. Zanjeer is credited as the movie which gave the 'Angry young man' title to Amitabh.

Shahenshah (1988)

"Rishte mein toh hum tumhare baap lagte hain, naam hai Shahenshah" is one of the famous dialogues in the film Shahenshah. Amitabh was seen as a cop in the day and as a vigilante at night, saving people from evil and injustice. The story of the film was written by his wife Jaya Bachchan and the film was a box-office hit.

Deewar (1975)

We can still recall the egoistic Vijay Verma from Deewar through these dialogues. "Main aaj bhi phenke hue paise nahin uthata" and "Aaj mere paas bangla hai, gaadi hai, bank balance hai, kya hae tumhare paas?" These two dialogues were proof that no one could mess with the big shot Vijay Verma.
