Ananya Panday takes inspiration from Kalki Koechlin for her wedding

Debutant actor Ananya Panday marked her debut in Karan Johar's Student of The Year 2 released in 2019. Even before its release, the actor became the talk of the town for her appearance. Be it having a birthday celebration at film sets or relating her dad Chunky Pandey to Tony Stark, she has always managed to earn the attention of her fans. Recently in an interview with a leading wedding website, the 21-year-old revealed her marriage plans.

It seems like Ananya has planned everything for her marriage, except for the date she decides to tie the knot. She wants it to be a grand affair where she will be surrounded by her friends and family. According to the reports of the interview, she wants to have two weddings, including a beach wedding followed by traditional marriage rituals. Reportedly she also mentioned that she wants her traditional marriage to be a destination wedding at Udaipur similarly how Kalki Koechlin's character Aditi had in the film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. Giving more insights, she replied to the question about her wedding playlist too. Panday said that rather than dancing on other songs she wants to dance on her own numbers. The SOTY 2 actor who has been only delivered one film so far is hoping she could dance at least for an hour on her songs at her wedding.

On the work front, Ananya is gearing up for her upcoming rom-com Pati Patni Aur Woh, also starring Kartki Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar in lead. The film is slated to release on December 6, 2019. The trailer of the film is well-received by the audience. Apart from the Mudassar Aziz's directorial, she will also share the screen space with actor Ishaan Khatter in a romantic-action titled Khali Peeli. The Maqbool Khan directorial is slated to release on June 12, 2020.
