A Twitter user suggested that Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor should become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra amid the BJP and Shiv Sena being in an apparent deadlock over the allocation of portfolios of the next Maharashtra government, and on who will be the Chief Minister. The Sena has pitched Aaditya Thackeray's name and seek that a '50:50' formula that had been decided be upheld by the BJP.
The user wrote: "Until we reach a solution for Maharashtra, why not make Anil Kapoor the Chief Minister? Everyone watched and loved his one-day session on the big screen. What say Devendra Fadnavis, Aditya Thackeray?," To this, Anil Kapoor replied: "Main Nayak hi theek hoon" (I'm better off as an actor/hero).
For those unaware, Anil Kapoor played the role of a Chief Minister to run the state for a day in 2001 political thriller film, Nayak: The Real Hero, directed by S. Shankar. In February this year, Anil in an interview said that a sequel to Nayak would be a good idea. Here's the tweet -

Poll results in Maharashtra
The saffron alliance swept Maharashtra on October 24, winning a combined tally of 161 (BJP- 105, Sena -56) to award CM Devendra Fadnavis a second term. But the comeback of the 'Maha- Agadhi' alliance (NCP-Congress) took the Mahayuti by surprise as the NCP bagged 54 seats while the languishing Congress too bagged 44 seats. Though the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance will form the next government, it was handed a diminished mandate compared to 2014 where it won 185 seats.
