Actor Ayushmann Khurrana was recently seen at the 2019 edition of the IIFA awards. The 20th edition was held in the city of Mumbai on September 18, 2019. Ayushmann attended the ceremony with his wife, Tahira Kashyap. He also hosted the show with his brother, Aparshakti Khurrana.

For the event, Ayushmann Khurrana appeared in a handsome ensemble. The Dream Girl actor looked dapper in a white blazer and black pants. His wife, Tahira Kashyap, appeared in a red off-shoulder gown. Safe to say, the couple set the red carpet on fire.

Ayushmann has had an extremely successful year. The actor and singer won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Sriram Raghavan's 2018 thriller, Andhadhun. His first release for this year, the social drama Article 15, which was directed by Abhinav Sinha, received critical acclaim and was a sleeper hit at the box-office. Ayushmann's next recent for this year, the romantic-comedy Dream Girl, emerged as his highest-grossing film, surpassing the collections of his 2018 film, Badhaai Ho. 

Bala is Ayushmann Khurrana's next release

Ayushmann Khurrana will return to the big screen with his latest release, the social-comedy, Bala. In the film, Ayushmann will be seen essaying the role of a bald man in the city of Mathura. The film also features Bhumi Pednekar, Yami Gautam, Javed Jaffrey, Seema Pahwa and Saurabh Shukla in supporting roles. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Studios and will release on November 7, 2019. Bala's trailer and posters have been well received by celebrities and audiences alike and the release has been eagerly anticipated.
