Here Akshay was seen playing the role of Aditya alongside Shruti Hassan who was playing the role of his girlfriend. The film was based on a Tamil film called Ramanaa which was later remade in Telugu as Tagore in 2003 and in Kannada as Vishnu Sena in 2005.

Here Akshay was seen playing the role of a police officer, Jai, who fell in love with a criminal’s daughter, Neha. The film is based on an elite team of the Indian Intelligence who travel to the U.A.E in order to carry out their mission. Here Akshay Kumar was seen playing the role of the agent leading the team, Ajay, alongside Madhurima Tuli who was playing the role of his wife, Anjali. The two had a very special onscreen connection and might have experienced some difficulties playing a long-distance relationship in the film because of Akshay’s job.
