Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Box Office: The Kartik Aaryan starrer horror-comedy hit the big screens on November 1, coinciding with the Diwali holiday. The movie is the third part of the horror comedy franchise. Vidya Balan reprises her role as Manjulika from the original 2007 film. The second movie was headlined by Kartik Aaryan who returns as Rooh Baba in the latest. While the movie has been drawing audiences to housefull theatres, it has yet to surpass the collection of its sequel.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is yet to surpass Bhool Bhualaiyaa 2 box office collection

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released in 2022. The horror-comedy film featured Kartik Aaryan alongside Tabu and Kiara Advani and was credited for bringing the audience back to the big screen after the pandemic. The movie opened to ₹14.11 crore at a time when people were still hesitant in stepping out in the public. In its five-week theatrical run, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 amassed a total of ₹184.32 crore.

The third film in the franchise is yet to surpass the mark. The movie opened to a staggering ₹35.5 crore and registered good business at the Diwali weekend. However, the film has witnessed a significant dip in the second week. Released alongside Singham Again, the Kartik Aaryan starrer raked in ₹9.25 crore on the second Friday (day 8). The film's total collection in India stands at ₹167.5 Cr.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 hit the big screen alongside Ajay Devgn starrer Singham Again. The film's business suffered massively because of the clash. While the Anees Bazmee directorial has put up a good fight, it has not been able to surpass the total collection of Singham Again yet.

Apart from the cop drama, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will also have to deter competition from the pan-Indian film Kanguva. Releasing on November 15, the movie stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani and is headlined by Suriya. Releasing in multiple languages, Kanguva Hindi is likely to become a hindrance in the collections of both Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again.
