Vicky Kaushal recently shared a new poster of his upcoming horror film, Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship, on his official Instagram handle. The horror film is directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh and produced by Dharma Productions. Bhoot Part One - The Haunted Ship consists of two parts featuring both Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles. The film is set to release on February 21, 2020.
What is in the poster?
The poster features the Sanju actor drowning inside a ship. While doing so, we can see hands of a ghost wrapped around him pulling him. One may not notice the ghost at first, but after spotting the creature, it bound to send shivers down your spine. The poster which has been released is a 3D which also indicates that the movie might be 3D.
The poster of Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship implies the feeling of being pulled into something by an external force. While sharing the poster, Vicky Kaushal wrote: 'Can't get away from the fear, can't get away from the terror. Help me escape'. A 2D version of the same was released by the Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar on their social media handles.
Vicky Kaushal recently wrapped up the shoot of the film. The Uri actor has expressed how the film has helped him fight his fears throughout the entire production phase. This is the first time that Vicky Kaushal has stepped into a new genre. The actor has also shared a number of pictures that showed his looks from the film.
This will also be a first for Dharma Productions in terms of producing a horror film, venturing out from the usual romantic-drama genre. The film is speculated to be set in a ship that has been abandoned. Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship was initially set to release on November 15, 2019. It has now been shifted to the first half of 2020.
Vicky Kaushal recently won the National Award for the Best Actor for his performance in Uri: The Surgical Strike. The actor has several other projects lined up in the future. Vicky will also be seen in Takht alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, directed by Karan Johar. The film will release towards the end of 2020.
